By plane you arrive at Airports: Athens ATH, GPA Araxos or Kalamata KLX. If you live in Holland you can find everyday flights to Preveza (PVK) Airport and from ther in 3 hours drive you reach Irida Resort. From April to October there are many charter flights from the most European capitals with cheap tickets.
Direct flights to Kalamata International Airport “Captain Vassilis Constantakopoulos” (KLX) linking the area with the most important European cities.
The Aegean Airlines, the largest airline in Greece, operating direct flights from Düsseldorf starting in March, and from Stockholm, but also from Munich, beginning in February. Also, direct flights from Paris, Moscow, Kiev and St. Petersburg beginning in May.
With routes through Vienna starting in March, Flyniki / Airberlin connects Hamburg, Berlin, Hanover, Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich and Dusseldorf to Kalamata International Airport. Also, the Austrian myHoliday connects Vienna to Kalamata, once a week from May. In parallel, the weekly routes Condor Airlines from Dusseldorf, Munich, Stuttgart and Frankfurt executed since May.
The routes Easyjet from London Gatwick airport starting in April and from Hamburg starting in June and performed twice a week. Since April, Ryanair flies twice a week from Milan (Bergamo). The company Thomas Cook performs seasonal direct flights to Kalamata from the UK (London, Manchester and Glasgow), while SAS connects Kalamata to Oslo, Transavia is in Amsterdam and Travel Services in Prague. The Astra Airlines operates flights to and from Thessaloniki.
How to arrive at Irida Resort by car:
Access to Irida Resort is easy drive from Athens, the capital city is to 230 km. The road distance from the International Airport of Kalamata is 50 km.
Private taxi transport are available from / to Athens International Airport and from / to Kalamata International Airport.

Ferry boat access:
The port of Patra is the main arrival point for visitors arriving in Greece from the ports of Italy (Venice, Ancona, Bari, Brindisi). Road distance from the port of Patras to Irida Resort is less than 150 kilometers.
The marinas of Kyparissia, Pylos have all the necessary facilities to accommodate private boats, yachts, sailboats.
Kalamata has besides modern marina, large port that can accommodate cruise ships from every part of the Mediterranean.
How to get here:
From April to October there are many charter flights to Kalamata Airport and Araxos Airport (Patras), from various European cities. Also, there are daily scheduled flights from most European countries to Athens International Airport. The distance Athens -Tripoli – Kyparissia is 230 Km long and can be covered by car in approximately less than 3 hours. The road takes you through the vineyards of Korinthia and the mountainous masses of Arcadia before you reach the fertile Messinian valley. From National Road turn right to Patras -Pyrgos-Kyparissia come to village Kalo Nero, lead to the beach and then turn right. You will find us after 300 meters, on your right hand.
If required we can make arrangements for a transfer by taxi or a rental car.
If you are planning a trip with your own car, there are daily ferryboat services from Italy (Venice, Ancona, Bari, Brindisi) to Patras. The distance Patras – Kalo Nero is about 150 km (less than 2 hours drive). Kyparissia is also connected to Athens by bus. The bus can be taken at the Bus Terminal of Kifissos in Athens and covers the distance in about 3 hours. There are several bus services throughout the day.
